At Church Road Dental Care in Burgess Hill we use the Invisalign system to straighten teeth.
Unlike conventional braces, Invisalign clear aligners are removable and virtually invisible. There are no wires or brackets, so you don’t need to change the way you brush and floss. Most importantly, you can continue to eat all your favourite foods. Invisalign works with a series of laboratory manufactured, clear aligners, each uniquely shaped and custom made for your teeth. As your teeth move, you will progress onto the next set of aligners until your perfect smile is achieved.
To get started, you will need a consultation to find out if you’re a suitable candidate. We will discuss the Invisalign process with you in detail and advise you on recommendations to improve your smile.
Next, you’ll come in for photographs and moulds. After this, we will show you on the computer how your smile could look before you go ahead. You’ll also have a clear idea of how long your treatment will take. If you are happy with this, we give Invisalign the go ahead and your aligners are manufactured in the laboratory. We aim to see you every 6-8 weeks so that we can check all the movement is progressing as predicted. At the end of your treatment, you will need final retainers made that you can wear to keep that perfect end result.
