Dental Implant FAQs
There is no age limit for having dental implants as long as there is sufficient bone to place the dental implant. In cases where there is not enough bone, it is possible to have bone grafted to facilitate the treatment. Before treatment begins, your dentist may take a CT scan to assess the amount and thickness of bone present.
We will ensure that you have a replacement tooth to fill any gaps while the dental implant integrates with the bone. We will make sure to keep you fully informed throughout the process.
Our experienced dentists take every measure to ensure your treatment is comfortable and pain free. Treatments are usually carried out under local anesthetic and painkillers will be supplied after the implants are placed to aid the healing process.
Prior to any dental implant treatment, your gums and teeth need to be healthy. During the consultation, the dentist will screen your gums and bone to check for any signs of disease or infection. The dentist will keep you informed of any additional treatment you may need to undergo prior to implant placement.
